I ran into a lot of people who somehow feel that happiness they have is the responsibility of someone else. So, if they’re having a good time with people that care about, they just say: “well, I’m just happy, so happy.” If the people around them are not saying what they want to hear or not doing what they want to do, they all of sudden say: ”well, it’s not a good day”, and they begin to look at the people, the situation, the experience, the circumstances, and kind of think erroneously that other people choose happiness for them.
Some people, could be given an entire field of roses and only see the thorns in it. Others, could be given a single weed and only see the wildflower in it. Perception is a key component to gratitude and gratitude a key component to happiness
I have good news for you today.
Happiness, is very close to you, but it isn’t going to be given to you by your spouse, or by your children, or by the people that you work with or by your neighbors. Only you can give yourself happiness. You’re the one who must choose happiness for yourself. You have to determine that you’ll be happy.
What do you want today? Do you want to be serious, sad, miserable or blissful?
It’s just a question of choice. So, for tomorrow morning try it, so you can start now. There is not need to wait for tomorrow, because- who knows? tomorrow may never come.
