Because faith is where life begins
To succeed, you have to believe.
I chose this title because it carries a truth that changed my life.
Without faith, we lose direction.
Without belief, we lose purpose.
And without purpose, we remain still — even when life is asking us to move.
Everything begins with belief. What you believe about yourself becomes the path you walk.
If you tell yourself you can, you will find a way.
If you tell yourself you can’t, you will remain exactly where you are.
Both are true — because both are chosen.
Faith Begins With Trusting Yourself
To believe is, first of all, to trust yourself. To know who you are. To recognize your strengths — even when life has tried to convince you otherwise.
Every human being longs to feel fulfilled, to matter, to contribute, to fight for something meaningful.
But before all of that, one question quietly waits to be answered:
Who am I?
I am Elena.
A human being like any other — with joy and pain, with dreams fulfilled and dreams still waiting.
I grew up surrounded by love. In a family that may not have held official titles, but held the greatest one of all: the title of being deeply human.
I learned what it means to love, to give, to care for others. And then life broke me open.
I lost my parents.
My husband.
My brother.
Loss changed everything. There were moments when I believed I would never rise again.
But love never left me. And one day, slowly, quietly, I stood up. That’s when I understood something essential:
Each of Us Is Here to Write Our Own Story
We come from different families. With different beliefs. Different wounds. Different gifts.
But we are all protagonists of our own life.
Every single day, we are given a choice: to color our life with light — or to let clouds decide for us.
If nothing changes in your life, it is because nothing has changed within you. Nothing around you will shift until you do.
Why Change Feels So Scary
Many people fear change. Not because change is impossible — but because they don’t believe in themselves.
They feel dissatisfied with their work. With their relationships. With their appearance. With their life.
And yet, when asked what they have done to change it, the answer is often the same: Nothing.
Because change requires courage. And courage is born from belief.
I know this fear well. It wasn’t easy for me either.
But I learned something important: Dreams are free. The journey is not. And it is the journey that stops most people.
You Were Never Meant to Survive — You Were Meant to Shine
God placed within each of us everything we need to shine — not merely survive.
We all arrived here with a quiver full of gifts. Our mission is to discover them, honor them, and use them.
Too many people live believing “I can’t” — and stay there forever. Too few dare to express who they truly are. To be yourself. Not a copy.
To live your dream — not someone else’s.
To walk your path — not the one imposed on you.
Many of us were taught early on that we are not enough. That others are better. That we must adapt, shrink, silence ourselves.
And so we grow carrying beliefs that were never ours.
What was missing? Self-worth.
Without it, we walk in the dark — searching everywhere except inside ourselves, where the real treasure lives.
Gratitude Is the Gateway
We are here to gather blessings — not only burdens. It is a blessing to wake up each morning.
To see.
To love.
To be loved.
To have food, warmth, connection.
As Albert Einstein said: “Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.”
What I Learned Along the Way
I learned that until I treated myself with respect, no one else could.
That no one will feel sorry for us forever.
That change begins with attitude.
That growth is uncomfortable — but necessary.
That suffering shapes us, not to destroy us, but to reveal who we are becoming.
I learned that I am not what happened to me — I am what I choose to become.
I learned to let go of what poisons my soul. To choose people who grow with me.
To walk away when I no longer belong.
I learned to shine — every single day. Because I did not come here to survive.
I came to live. To give life to my years — not just years to my life.
A Final Truth
You are never alone. There is always something greater walking with you — guiding, protecting, believing in you. Whispering softly:
Fly. I believe in you. You are unique. You are enough.
As Lucian Blaga wrote: “Who does not fall cannot rise.”
