You Are What You Think

You hold a cup of coffee and someone slaps you on the shoulder or squeezes your arm, causing you to spill coffee everywhere.

Why did you spill the coffee?

Answer: Because someone hit me, of course!

Think again, please. You spilled the coffee because there was coffee in the cup. If there was tea in the cup, you would have spilled tea.

Anything inside the vessel will spill. Therefore, when life comes and shakes you (what is happening), whatever is inside will come to the surface. .

So, we have to ask ourselves, “What’s in my cup?”

When life gets tough, what spills over?

Joy, gratitude, peace and humility?

Or Anger, envy, bitterness, harsh words and reactions?

The main cause of unhappiness is almost never the situation itself, but the thoughts about it.

Remember, that happiness does not depend on what you are or what you have. It just depends on how you think.

A healthy outside starts from the inside.
