There are roads that take you to unknown places just to meet the people meant to appear in your life.
There are steps that take you to places you were supposed to get to even though you didn’t know why until you got there.
There are people who remain glued to your soul even if they have left your life.
There are those moments that you’d like to keep suspended in eternity just to get back to them so you can feel embraced in your happiness.
The tumult of life makes you forget the moments, the hours, the beautiful emotions, the people dear to your soul, the wonderful places you have discovered, the beginnings of the journey that brought you closer to what you are now…
I’m writing these lines to you because I happened to forget the wonders of my life, but one day, my steps took me to a place I didn’t know, a place that reminded me of who I am and why I came to earth.
And in that place, it’s like a story I read:
“I’ll show you the amazing light of your being when you’re alone or in the dark.”
And then I smiled, while a tear of gratitude crept into a corner of my eye because I understood that the light I carry in my heart, lights the light in the hearts of others, and I know that together, one day, we will light the whole world.
